The Marquee Hire Membership Group

This is one of two membership groups that interface directly with the end user (the other is inflatable play). That is why 90% of this group's effort goes to ensure public safety and maintenance of standards.

Over the years it has developed a code of practice that has become recognised as best practice throughout the industry. It has now developed into a full accreditation scheme, backed up by our own inspection team - MUTAmarq.

Training & Competency

When you hire-in a marquee you have a legal obligation to choose a competent contractor. Selecting a MUTAmarq accredited company demonstrates your commitment to safety.

Our members' drive for ever higher standards led them to set up the only assessment centre for NVQ Events (Temporary Structures) and to fight for the qualification's development as well as for the training scheme that under-pins it.

The Association is also a conduit for funding through the “Train to Gain” scheme.
